A nod to the Snake Oil Salesman and Miracle Elixir advertisements from the late 1800's - Snake Oil playing cards are designed by Randy Butterfield and produced by The Blue Crown.

Featuring pen and ink drawings of an old-school con-man with his menacing snake, the tuck case is reminiscent of historic ads and includes over-the-top quotes and bold declarations with the cards claiming to be "The Saviour of the Human Race"

The back design is a subtly asymmetric, borderless snakeskin pattern and all face and spot cards don a slightly distressed, stained appearance. Court cards are Arrco-style and are in keeping with the 1800's deck aesthetic.
