AvH Typographic

An exploration of the differences between two iconic Sans Serif fonts.

Designed in the UK by Luke Wadey and produced in collaboration with JP Games Ltd, AvH uses the form of letters and numbers to create abstract graphics combined with clean and bold typographic playing card design.

A fully custom deck, the cards feature overlapping characters and selective cropping to analyse the details of the two renowned fonts whilst creating distinctive and unique patterns. At first glance the fonts can appear very similar, but subtleties in each line and corner are what make them unique.

Influenced by the Swiss design style, AvH promises to be truly unique in your collection whilst remaining functional for all users, particularly cardists who will enjoy the bold flashes of colour during their routines.
